It seems like more and more artist are collaborating with reggae stars to add a nice flavor to their singles and Bruno Mars was sure to do the same. In his latest 'Liquor Store Blues' Mars collaborated with reggae wonder Damian Marley. Bruno's voice is a little annoying to me but Damian Marley sounds oh so good on this one. Check it out.

Run for cover and grab your head phones! Nas and Damien Jr. Gong Marley is bursting through the music scene with a smash hit 'As we enter' which is apart of Nas' new album 'Distant Relatives.' This album includes a collection of songs that combines rap and reggae music.
This is one of my personal favorites! I love the up tempo beats and the undeniable edginess from Damien. Nas always brings a rugged feel to any track so I'm def pleased with this one

In an online article Nas says working with a reggae artist on "Distant Relatives" seemed to be a natural next step. Here are a few exerts from the article:
"We didn't come up with the idea," he says. "The idea came up with us." The rapper and Mr. Marley will kick off a joint tour in Arcata, Calif. on May 21, with a stop at the Williamsburg Waterfront on July 31.
Nas spoke with The Wall Street Journal about his new album, Bob Marley, and Jay-Z.
The Wall Street Journal: What made you decide to work with a reggae artist?
Nas: I wanted to be challenged. I wanted to sound a little different than how I normally sound—the flow of it. So I changed it up.
WSJ: What do rap and Jamaican music have in common?
Nas: They're both real music by people who are expressing themselves about the conditions around them. Many of those conditions are similar. Jamaican music can be aggressive, soulful, smooth and exciting all at once—just like hip-hop. At the same time, there's nothing like Jamaica in the United States. Jamaica is its own thing.
WSJ: What kind of impact did Bob Marley have on your work?
Nas: Everyone listens to him—it's not a Jamaican thing or an American thing—it's all over the world. I've always wished to be able to do that once, as much as he does it naturally and easily on this untouchable level, I'd want to do that. Just touch people and help them on that same worldwide level ... ''

Atlantis, Paradise Island is doing it big for their guests once again this summer with hot performances by chart topping musical artist Justin Bieber, Sheryl Crow and Taylor Swift.
The first in the lineup to perform is Grammy award winner, singer-songwriter & musician Sheryl Crow. She'll be performing live in the Imperial Ballroom at 9:30PM. 
Heartthrob Justin Bieber is set to take the stage on June 12th in the Imperial Ballroom at 8:30PM.

As if he didn't have enough surprises up his sleeves, Drake comes out swinging once again with the release of Alicia Keys's new song 'Unthinkable' which Drake wrote and lended a hand in the background vocals. The song is one of the hot tracks on Alicia's newly released album 'Element of Freedom.'
The sweet-faced Canadian keeps the masses on their toes as I'm sure not many people expected such a soft side from the talented rapper. Like they say, the sky is the limit and Drake is def on his way.

If you know anything about me you know I love Beyonce like good food. You just gatta love the girl. She keeps it fesh all the time and she is one of the only few artist I think can last to stand the test of time.
Most singers nowadays aren't concerned about making legendary music but this chick keeps doing it for me. She's mature, fun, fresh and full of surprises. So I nearly lost my mind when I found out she has a new song AND a new video.
I like the content of the song and I definately love the comical ways in the video. Check this out
